“Taming of the Shrew”
Senior Matt Tavel, sophomore Aurora Brown and graduate Zach Watt act out a scene in Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew” in which they discuss the marriage prospects of the character Bianca. The play, directed by 2013 graduate Elizabeth Pritchett-Montavon, was performed on Aug. 15 by current and former Drama Club members.
On Aug. 15, alumna Elizabeth Pritchett-Montavon returned to LN to direct a performance of Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew” in the Little Theater. Drama teacher Stacy Embry helped Pritchett-Montavon to assemble a cast of current and former LN drama students. Weekly rehearsals for the show took place between June and August.
