Admission will be $5 for all who attend. All proceeds will go to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation to fund research for a cure for the disease.
¨Mr. LN always turns out to be such a positive experience for everyone involved, and it’s for such a great cause,¨ Tri-Hi-Y Director Angela Owens said.
Each participant will be impersonating their favorite Disney Princess. Listed participants are Jacob Hendrickson (Elsa), Nick Taylor (Belle), Excell Brooks (Pocahontas), Zach Kellerman (Jasmine), Shea Thompson (Tiana), Gabriel Vaughn (Snow White), Mynor Caceres (Moana), Jonah Hermann (Mulan), Caleb Floyd (Cinderella), Ryan Wainscott (Ariel) and Lois Pierson (Rapunzel).
¨The Tri-Hi-Y girls thought that it’d be cool to see the guys have to act like princesses,¨ Owens said.
Featured students had to be recommended anonymously by a teacher to be able to have a chance to participate. From there, students had the opportunity to personally decide if and how they´d participate
¨I’m excited to be able to show people my talent of public speaking through a poem that I wrote in honor of my brother that passed 10 years ago,¨ senior Shea Thompson said.
Mr. LN gives students the chance to compete, express, and reveal what they love most about themselves and the school.
¨The best part of participating in Mr. LN is just getting to know about new people and yourself,¨ senior Jacob Hendrickson said.
Rehearsals for Mr. LN has been in session since the beginning of February. Participaters look forward to showing their wit in the upcoming show.
¨You’ll definitely get your money’s worth. You’ll laugh and get to see your friends get to do what they love to do,¨ Thompson said.
