Christmas Special Volunteer Events 

If you love the zoo and Christmas, you could spend your December at the zoo to volunteer. The Indianapolis zoo is doing a Christmas special every year. Your tasks would include things like campfire Hosts and Santa’s Assistants. The zoo will even give you two complimentary Zoo admission tickets for each volunteer shift during Christmas at the Zoo.

This year you could combine freetime and volunteering hours. There are different roles you could participate in: Greeter, Kinderecke (Children Corner and Spielhaus (Play House), Photo Spots or Special Events.

As a Greeter you would greet guests and help them to navigate. In the Kinderecke and Spielhaus you would assist with different activities and crafts.
