Students start their own brands

Teenagers nowadays like to make money in different ways. Some take the normal after-school job. But others get a little more creative, including two students who have started their own clothing brands.

What made you start the company?

“It came to me out of nowhere. I don’t even know why I started. I just saw something online and I just drew out a plan.”

How did you come up with the idea?

“My (brand) name came from a Gucci Mane song. I was scrolling through my playlist and I saw the name and liked it.”

Who inspired you?

“The people I saw online with their own clothing brands and how they came from, like, having an idea in their bedroom, then made it big.”

When did you start?

“I started in November last year (2022).”

What does your brand consist of? 

“Shirts and hoodies for now.”

What made you start the company?

“I felt like I could just make some cool clothes that people like and make some money.”

How did you come up with the idea? 

“I didn’t come up w​​ith the name. My partner did, I just make the designs.”

Who inspired you? 

“My friends inspired me.”

When did you start? 

“I started about 4-5 months ago. It’s still in the process.”

What does your brand consist of?  

“Hats, sweatshirts, full zip jackets, shorts, the good stuff.”
