Senior Kobi Bowles defends against LC on Dec. 6. The Wildcats defeated the Bears 79-61 that night. LN continues to be undefeated going into the middle of the season.

The Boys basketball team is currently undefeated (6-0) and ranked #1 in state.

They continued that streak by beating #8 Crispus Attucks this week.

The players are dialed in as they approach the midway point of the season

“I think we worked hard throughout this season. We deserved it, and I think we need to keep it up and keep the pace up, keep working harder,” Senior Myles Baker said.

Sophomore Brennan Miller also agrees.

”It feels good, but we know we have to keep working, so we don’t really feed into that,” he said.

One of the highlights of the season so far is the big win over rival LC on Dec. 6. The Wildcats beat the Bears 79-61 in an electric match between the two teams scoring from the arc.

According to the players, that was one of the best moments, but Baker says they have their sights set on a higher goal: “Winning state.”

“Just playing as a team and being one because we’re all good, we just have to keep playing together,” Baker said.

Miller says the team is working well together.

“ We’re looking forward to keeping the same momentum and to keep winning,” he said.
